Is chartering a yacht safe?
Chartering a yacht is a safe and enjoyable way to explore the seas, especially with a professional captain and crew on board to ensure smooth sailing.
It is important for guests to stay aware of their surroundings, particularly when engaging in water activities. The crew is always there to provide guidance and support, ensuring that safety remains a top priority throughout your luxurious adventure.
When should I start the booking process?
You can book a charter up to 2 years in advance. The ideal time to make a booking is between 1.5 years to 1 year before your desired date, as this helps ensure boat availability. While it is possible to book within a year of your trip, please be aware that available dates may be limited.

Does it cost more to work with a broker?
Engaging the services of a yacht charter broker incurs no additional costs for the client.
A yacht broker facilitates the process of matching clients with the appropriate captain and yacht while ensuring the security of both payment and reservations. Yacht charter brokers are compensated through a modest fee, which is derived from the overall chartering cost paid by the yacht.
What affects a charter price?
There are several factors that affect the price of a yacht charter:
Yacht Size and Type: Larger and more luxurious yachts generally cost more. The type of yacht, whether it's a sailing yacht, motor yacht, or catamaran, also influences the price. If you have a larger group, you will want to have a larger yacht.
Seasons/Location: High seasons, like summer in the Mediterranean or winter in the Caribbean, typically have higher prices due to demand. The destination itself can also impact costs.
Duration: The length of time you charter the yacht directly affects the price, with longer charters typically offering better daily rates.
Amenities: Yachts with more luxurious amenities usually command higher prices.
How do I book a yacht charter?
To begin the booking process, let’s gather some important details about your vacation. Any yacht charter broker will need the following information:
1. Number of people in your party
2. Your budget range (e.g., $25K-$35K, $35K-$45K, $50K+)
3. Desired travel dates

What is the payment schedule?
Booking 6 months or more from charter start date:
25% due upon signing
25% due 180 days before charter start date
50% due 60 days before charter start date
Booking 6 months or less from charter start date:
50% due upon signing
50% due 60 days before charter start date
Booking withing 60 days of charter start date:
100% due upon signing
Does the boat have internet?
Yes, many modern yachts are equipped with internet access, allowing passengers to stay connected while at sea. Most of these vessels utilize Starlink technology, which offers fast, high-speed internet service.
This satellite-based system ensures reliable connectivity even in remote locations, making it easier for guests to stream videos, make calls, and stay in touch with family and friends.
Does the charter fee cover food and drinks?
Yes, your charter fee covers food and drinks, including alcohol. You can choose from three types of crewed yacht experiences: Full Board, Half Board, or Local Fare.
Full Board: Includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the entire stay.
Half Board: Includes 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches, and 3 dinners. Guests are responsible for the cost of 3 lunches and 4 dinners ashore.
Local Fare: Includes 7 breakfasts, 5 lunches, and 6 dinners. Guests are responsible for the cost of 2 lunches and 1 dinner ashore.
What does the crew do?
The primary responsibility of any yacht crew is to operate the boat and ensure the safety of everyone on board. All captains are licensed and trained in first aid and CPR.
Yacht crews collaborate with their guests to customize the vacation experience according to the guests' preferences. They help create bespoke experiences, serving as personal chefs, tour guides, and instructors.
